With this function, you can clear all of the data out of all tables in an existing database, without physically removing the tables from your database.

Prerequisites: A database is open.

To run this function: Choose Database > Database > Administration > Clear database, or Design > Blast design > Database > Administration > Clear database or...

• In the Function Chooser, type CLEAR DATABASE, and press ENTER.

Field	Description
Database	Read-only. The name of the database that is open.
Do you wish to proceed?	selected. All data in all tables of the database is deleted when you click Apply. cleared. No data is deleted.

Output

All data is deleted from the database. The table and field structure is not changed.
