Hotfixes
For Surpac 6.6 and later versions, Surpac supports software hotfixes. Hotfix installers have a file extension of .msp. The following table shows you the filename of the hotfix for each installation file.

- If a hotfix is installed, an entry appears under Programs and Features > View Installed Updates.
- When a hotfix is installed, and you run the hotfix installer again, there is no notification that the hotfix has been already installed.
- If you install the hotfix again, there will be no new entry under Programs and Features > View Program Updates.
- To install a hotfix when another hotfix has already been installed, you must uninstall the first one, and then install the second one. The second hotfix includes the changes in the first hotfix.
- If a mismatch of Surpac and hotfix installers is detected, the hotfix installer displays an error message.
- If Surpac is running, and you start the hotfix installer, you are prompted to close the application, or cancel the hotfix installation.
- If you uninstall Surpac, the hotfix is uninstalled as well.
