File manager
This function allows a user-defined file manager to be invoked from within the software. Some examples of alternative file managers are XtreeGold and PC Tools.
To run this function: Choose File > Utilities > File manager, or...
The function is controlled by entering an appropriate response next to the 'file manager' line in defaults.ssi.
A valid entry in defaults.ssi is:
file manager=xtgold
Result
The GEOVIA software is replaced on the screen with your file manager program. If you run the escape sequence in your file manager, you are returned to the module from where you invoked the file manager.
Tip: Add a convenient alias command in your commands.ssi file.
If your file manager is XtreeGold for example, use an alias command such as xtg.
