Display attributes on section

You can use this function to display up to 20 block model attribute values for each block displayed on a plane.

Prerequisites:

  • a block model is displayed
  • the active plane intersects the block model

To run this function: Choose Block model > Display > Display attributes on section, or...

  • In the Function chooser, type DRAW BM PLANES ATTRIBUTES.
  • In the Planes panel, click the Display attributes on section icon.

Fields on the Attribute Labels form

Field Description
Display labels
Attribute The block model attribute that contains the values you want to display.
Position

The location where you want the value to display. Options are:

  • above: The label is displayed above the centroid of the block.
  • below: The label is displayed below the centroid of the block.
  • left: The label is displayed to the left of the centroid of the block.
  • right: The label is displayed to the right of the centroid of the block.
  • centre: The label is displayed directly on the centroid of the block.

Note: If you select the same location for more than one attribute, the values for the attributes are displayed in a vertical list at the location.

Font
Font The font to use for the labels.
Size The size of the font for the labels.
Units
  • oru: Object Relative Units, the size is a set value in real units (for example, metres). The text becomes larger and smaller when you zoom in and out of Graphics.
  • sru: Screen Relative Units, the size is a percentage of the screen size (for example, 0.02 sru is 2% of the screen height). The text stays the same size when you zoom in and out of Graphics.

Output

The block model attribute values are displayed in Graphics.
