Assign value
This function provides a simple method to assign discrete values, for example 'waste' or 1.5 to attributes in the block model. A common use for this function is to assign material identifiers and specific gravity values to blocks which meet various constraint criteria such as inside a 3DM.
To run this function: Choose Block model > Estimation > Assign value, or...
This function allows you to fill a number of attributes simultaneously using the same constraint.
Attribute Name
Enter the names of the attributes to be modelled.
Value
Enter the value to assign to selected blocks.
Constrain interpolation?
Enter 'Y' if you want to constrain blocks for which the value will be assigned, or 'N' for assignment to all blocks in the model.
Choose Apply to perform the assignment or Cancel.
Result
All blocks in the model, or if using constraints, all blocks which meet the specified constraints are assigned the specified values.
